1. Scope and data we process

Matbakhna BE is a Belgian food-listing and contact platform. Guests may browse without an account. When you register or use account features, we may process:

• account and profile data: display name, email address, Firebase user ID, email-verification state and account status;
• seller and listing data: city, postal code, seller declarations, WhatsApp number, optional public contact email, listing text, price, availability, ingredients, allergens, origin, photos and timestamps;
• community and safety data: ratings, favourites, comments, reports, blocked-user lists, moderation decisions and limited audit records;
• technical and advertising data handled by Google services: device or advertising identifiers, IP-derived approximate region, consent choices, app interactions, diagnostics, fraud-prevention signals and Play Integrity/App Check signals.

We do not ask for payment-card data, precise GPS location, contacts, SMS or call logs. Passwords are handled by Firebase Authentication and are not visible to the operator.

2. Purposes and legal bases

We use data to create and secure accounts, publish and manage listings, enable buyer–seller contact, provide ratings, favourites and comments, prevent spam and fraud, moderate user-generated content, comply with legal duties, operate optional advertising and improve reliability. Depending on the activity, the legal basis is performance of the service, legitimate interests in security and moderation, legal obligation, or consent for advertising/storage where consent is required.

3. Public data and user choices

Listings, seller display name, listing city, photos and listing details are public. WhatsApp and optional contact email are shown only through the contact flow but can then be received by another user. Do not publish private data in listing text, comments or photos. Advertising privacy choices are available in Settings where Google UMP makes them available.

4. Service providers and transfers

Google Firebase provides Authentication, Cloud Firestore, Storage and App Check. Google Play services provide Play Integrity and technical services. Google AdMob and the Google User Messaging Platform may provide ads, consent and fraud prevention after advertising is enabled. If you choose to contact a seller, Android may open WhatsApp or an email app, whose own privacy terms then apply. Processing may involve international transfers under the safeguards used by the relevant provider. See Google Privacy Policy.

5. Retention and deletion

Account and listing data is normally retained while the account exists. In-app deletion removes the Firebase Authentication account and associated profile, listings, listing photos, favourites, ratings, comments, reports submitted by the account and block lists. A limited report or audit record may be retained where necessary for safety, abuse prevention, legal claims or a legal duty, and should be minimised or anonymised where possible. External requests are normally completed within 30 days after reasonable identity verification. Provider-side advertising or security records follow the provider's retention rules. 6. Security

We use HTTPS, Firebase access rules, least-privilege access, email verification, App Check/Play Integrity support, image type and size restrictions, and account/moderation controls. No system can guarantee absolute security. Please protect your credentials and report suspected misuse.

7. Your rights

Subject to the GDPR and applicable law, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability or object to certain processing, and may withdraw consent without affecting earlier lawful processing. You may complain to the Belgian Data Protection Authority. Contact 065950hz@gmail.com. We may request reasonable verification before disclosing or deleting account data.

8. Children, changes and contact

The selling and account-upload features are intended for adults aged 18 or over. We may update this policy when the service or legal requirements change and will update the date above. Material changes may also be shown in the app.

Matbakhna BE traite les données nécessaires au compte, aux annonces et à la sécurité : nom affiché, e-mail et identifiant Firebase, statut du compte, ville et code postal, déclarations vendeur, WhatsApp, e-mail public facultatif, textes, prix, ingrédients, allergènes, photos, favoris, évaluations, commentaires, signalements, blocages et traces de modération limitées. Google peut traiter des identifiants techniques/publicitaires, la région approximative issue de l'IP, le consentement, les interactions, diagnostics et signaux antifraude.

Les finalités sont la fourniture et la sécurisation du service, la mise en relation, la modération, la prévention de la fraude, les obligations légales et la publicité facultative lorsqu'elle est activée. Les annonces, photos, nom affiché et ville sont publics. WhatsApp et l'e-mail facultatif deviennent accessibles par le parcours de contact.

Firebase fournit Authentication, Firestore, Storage et App Check; Google Play fournit les services techniques; AdMob et UMP peuvent fournir publicité et consentement. Les données du compte sont conservées tant que le compte existe. La suppression couvre le compte et les données associées; une trace minimale peut être conservée pour la loi, un litige, la sécurité ou la prévention des abus. Matbakhna BE verwerkt gegevens die nodig zijn voor accounts, advertenties en veiligheid: schermnaam, e-mail en Firebase-ID, accountstatus, stad en postcode, verkopersverklaringen, WhatsApp, optioneel openbaar e-mailadres, teksten, prijzen, ingrediënten, allergenen, foto's, favorieten, beoordelingen, reacties, meldingen, blokkeringen en beperkte moderatielogboeken.
